2025 Fall Test

 Our 2026 test dates are August 29-30, 2026. 

Please submit test entry forms through the NAVHDA member portal. 

Members: 

Natural Ability (NA)      $175.00      

Gun Dog Test (GDT)   $200.00     

Utility Test (UT)           $200.00                   

Non-Club Members:

Natural Ability (NA)        $200.00

Gun Dog Test (GDT)     $225.00

Utility Test (UT)             $225.00

Any NAVHDA-registered versatile hunting dog may enter the test. The handler must also be a registered member of NAVHDA International.

Send one completed test entry form and test entry fee for each dog you are entering. 

Test entry forms must be submitted through NAVHDA portal.

Tests are first come, first served. Please text, call or email before sending an entry form to confirm open spots.

If you can help with any of the following positions, please contact the test secretary. 

- Field Marshall (Duties include: Having the next handler/dog ready; Having the next event setup/ready; Keeping the gallery from interfering)

- Field Gunners

- Distraction Gunners

- Bird Planters (This may require utilizing an ATV or side-by-side)

- Winger-Zinger Operator 

- Food Organizer (Coordinates lunch plans; lunch pickup and delivery to test location)        

Refund Policy: Refunds of 50% of test fee will be issued up to June 1st. After June 1st NO REFUNDS will be issued.  

Dams in season: Dams in season may still run in the test, however they will run on the last day of the test. If you think your dam may be coming into, going out of, or will be in heat during the test, please note this on the top of your entry form. There will be a check of all female dogs running on each morning, immediately following the opening ceremony.

Running Orders: Running days are assigned by the secretary, who will make their best effort to accommodate handler preferences. Entries submitted first are given first run date preference. Handlers will be notified the day they are running no later than a week before the test. Running orders are subject to change at any time before the start of the test.
