Who Can Enter? Any NAVHDA-registered versatile hunting dog.

Chapter Member Volunteers Needed!

If you can help with any of the following positions, please contact test secretary.
           

Field Marshall
(Have next handler/dog ready. Have next event setup/ready. Keep gallery from interfering.)
Bird Planters
(Use 4-wheelers and Chuck Wagon to plant birds for field tests.)
Duck Thower
(Needs a good arm.)
Food Organizer
(Coordinates lunch plans.)

Gunners
(1 for each NA field test to fire blanks - minimal walking; 3 for each UPT/UT field test - walk the entire field; 1 diversion gunner for each UPT/UT water retrieve test - no walking.)
Judge Steward
(Looks after food / beverage / gear / comfort needs of judges.)
Bird Dresser
(Clean harvested birds.)

Test Rules

            Refund Policy
            Refunds will be made for medical reasons or within 2 weeks of the test as long as your spot is taken
            resulting in a full test. Request for refunds must be submitted in writing to the test secretary 
            accompanied by a verfying statement by a vet or physician.


            Dams in season
            Dams in season may still run in the test, however they will run on the last day of 
            the test. If you think your dam may be coming into, going out of, or will be in heat during 
            the test, please note this on the top of your entry form. There will be a bitch check each 
            morning immediately following the opening ceremony


            Running Orders
            Running days are assigned on a “first come, first served” basis. Handlers will be notified 
            the day they are running no later than a week before the test.
